Ronja Ver‘s evening length piece DEAR AMERICA explores the themes of alien-ness, immigration and freedom, in a complex love affair with the United States post economic collapse.
DEAR AMERICA was created with generous support from the Garage RAW residency program and the seventh annual San Francisco Summer Performance Festival.

This piece was originally performed with all the trash/recycling/compost that I found at the venue upon arrival, brought on stage either as part of my costume or the set. Musings about this can be found on an old blog post here.
